The Florence-Firestone/Walnut Park Chamber of Commerce

The Chamber opens its "Florence-Firestone Summer Street Festival" on the weekend of August 19, 20 and 21 on the corner of Florence Avenue and Compton Avenue in the community of Florence-Firestone, unincorporated of the County of Los Angeles. The family celebration will include Cultural exhibits, Arts and Crafts, Live Entertainment on the main stage, Clowns, and two Carnival areas anchored at both ends of the Festival and games for all ages. Admission to the downtown street festival is Free and open to the public. Hours of the Florence-Firestone Summer Street Festival are Friday, August 19 from 5p.m.-10p.m. and Saturday 20 and Sunday 21, from 12 a.m.-11p.m. The festival will be presented in the heart of the major shopping area along Compton Avenue between Florence Ave. and 68th Street. This event is in cooperation with County Supervisors Gloria Molina and Mark Ridley-Thomas.
