PITTY QUE, Inc.

Our names are Eric and Dana and during the 2014 year, we made our original BBQ sauce and started bottling it by hand in a shared kitchen. It was a huge hit and we were told we should take it mainstream by numerous people. By Dana's request we also developed a spicy sauce!! We were fostering for a Pit bull rescue at the time and decided that they wanted to help give back to animal rescue organizations as well with a portion of sales going towards them. We went through all of the proper business processes and licensing. We do BBQ competitions as well and the competitions tripled to 6 in that year. Midway through the year, we won our first award with a 1st place in ribs at the McHenry BBQ Competition. The following month came a 6th place ribs and 2nd place for People’s Choice Sauce at the Glen Ellyn BBQ event and the next week a 1st place chicken in Palos Park. We contacted a co-packer and had the original run for production but we are still a local business that wants to give back to the community. Awards were flying in with numerous top 5 places in ribs, chicken, sauce and overall scores. Well now it’s 2019 and they are still going strong and we have went totally pro with competitions this year, we did a few last year getting our first 1st place with ribs!!! We are now found in 10 stores and online! Our competition schedule will consist of 12-13 events this year and we continue to hunt for the best markets to get their sauce into. We are also starting to cater as well. ** Our sauces are all natural, gluten free, do not contain high fructose corn syrup and are free of artificial colors and flavors. They also do not contain any fish products and are Vegan friendly. **
