Official North Carolina Gold Festival

Strike it rich at the Official North Carolina Gold Festival in Old Fort. Activities include gold and gem panning contests, gold vendors including a display by the Reed Gold Mine, demonstrations, exhibits, a Bechtler Gold Coin Exhibit, a Bechtler House Exhibit, live music from NC Gold Album. Singer/Songwriters request entry forms. Headliner: Original drummer/vocalist member of the Super group Alabama band. Writer of many hits including "Why Lady Why" and Johnny cash hits.
