I enjoy creating images that document complex aesthetic ideas through careful control of composition, focus, lighting, and editing, in a sense it's photography. I draw upon life as inspiration to discover many possibilities for subject matter that extends beyond recording the outside world. My feminine intuition encourages me to remove traditional tropes to create images that are intense in color and dramatic in expressing varying influences on subject matter, the beauty of natural elements, or simply to highlight moments often ignored in everyday life. I rely more on organic methods while allowing technology to enhance my processes. This allows me to produce in a number of mediums, including dye-based inks on cotton, acrylic face mounts, metal and other substrates.
