Description of Event:
The Tuscarora Nation of North Carolina invites all to the 31st Annual Contest Pow Wow. The Pow Wow will feature tribal dancers, drummers, singers, artisans and crafters from across the United States. Native Americans throughout the country will join the Tuscarora Nation as they celebrate their 31st Annual Pow-Wow; Friday and Saturday, May 13 and 14, 2011 on the Tuscarora Tribal Grounds 288 Tuscarora Nation Road in Maxton, North Carolina. Gates will open at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 13 and 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2011. Dance and Drum Registrations: Friday, 12 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Grand Entries: Friday 6:30 p.m. and Saturday 12:00 noon and 6:00 p.m.Information:
