Description of Event:
This year's Peaches to the Beaches Yard Sale will be March 12-13, 2010. Yard sale booths are available for individuals and churches, civic clubs and other community groups. The Golden Isles Parkway is part of the Governor's Road Improvement Program (GRIP), which supports a network of economic development highways that connect most of Georgia's cities to the U.S. Interstate Highway System. The GRIP system ultimately will ensure that 98 percent of all areas in Georgia are within 20 miles of a four-lane highway. As of 2002, there were 18 GRIP highways and three truck-access routes totaling 2,839 miles of Georgia roadways. The 172-mile long Golden Isles Parkway runs along U.S. Highway 341 from I-75 at Perry to I-95 at Brunswick. Your Golden Isles Parkway adventure will take you through these communities.Information:
