Olympia Harbor Days is riding the wave into the future! Join quality makers who have been coming back for years! Over 60,000 people will set a course for the 50th Celebration of the award winning Olympia Harbor Days Festival, Labor Day Weekend! The festival hosts the Tugboats of the Puget Sound and engages maritime fans, arts & crafts followers, fair food junkies, music lovers and anyone from any community in search of FREE family friendly fun. Join us today!
The festival showcases the vintage tugboats, tall ships, steam ships and other historic vessels of twentieth century commerce on the Puget Sound. Merchant booths line the boardwalk, along with 3 stages and 2 Food G’Allys offering everything from bagpipes to rock, seafood to fair food.
On water, maritime fans enjoy dockside tours of historic tugboats and vessels, cruises on Budd Bay and vintage tugboat races. There are over 300 things to do and see. Registration for all types of booths, boats, and volunteer participation now open.
On land, festival attendees enjoy great food, great music, quality artists and makers, plus nautical and marine themed attractions, hands on activities, Olympia’s tugboat heritage, tribal history and cultural sharings, and the working waterfront with Port of Olympia tours.
Bring the kids to this family-friendly maritime celebration and fuel their dreams of working on the water and sailing the world when they grow up. Olympia Harbor Days Festival also includes maritime skill demos, small watercraft, sand carving, a LEGO Harbor Build, and dancing pirates just to name a few.
The location at Percival Landing is a well-known Pacific Northwest maritime landmark located in downtown Olympia, WA in the shadow of the state Capitol, and is the southern-most tip of the Puget Sound, a destination for many who travel by boat. Hotels, shops, galleries, a children’s museum, restaurants, and bars featuring locally brewed beers, wines and distillery products are all within walking distance of the event or short drives around Thurston County.
