Description of Event:
Heiwa Matsuri Fall Peace Festival is celebrating International Aiki Peace Week and the U.N. Day of Peace. The event is free and family-friendly.
Tentative Schedule:
10:30- The first activity will be a free trial Aikido class for those ages 7+, youth or adult. No prior experience is needed, and we encourage everyone to try it out!
11:30- Next will be the World Peace Prayer Flag Ceremony, where we place each country’s flag in a large spiral while wishing them Peace and Prosperity. At the end, we wish May Peace Prevail to the whole World (outside if weather permits).
12:30- Then we will have Origami Crane making for Peace. Instructions will be provided.
