The free family-friendly event will be held on September 8 and includes a day of fellowship, fun, and food

FRISCO, Texas— St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church has announced its Second Annual Fall Festival will be held on September 8, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The event is free to the public and will be held at the church’s campus located at 8000 Eldorado Parkway in Frisco.

This year’s festival will feature BINGO, a silent auction with over 90 items, carnival rides, over 30 food booths, and a raffle with five incredible prizes to win. A delicious array of both carnival and cultural foods will be available, including cotton candy, funnel cakes, hamburgers, corndogs, papusas, gorditas, jollof rice and chicken, and more.

Building off of the success of last year’s raffle, the parish is pleased to continue the tradition this year with more chances to win. This year’s raffle will feature five prizes, with the first-place prize winning a $35,000 voucher towards a vehicle purchase at Pat Lobb’s Toyota of McKinney. Additional prizes include three gift cards in amounts of $5,000, $4,000 and $3,000 as well as Four Southwest Airlines ePasses. Raffle tickets are $20, and winners will be drawn at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 8. 

An area especially for children will also provide fun for the festival’s youngest attendees with a petting zoo, pumpkin patch, photo booth, face painting, rides, and carnival games. Wristbands will be available for purchase allowing all-day fun and play.

In addition to food and fun, the Second Annual Fall Festival will feature a number of live music performances throughout the day. This year’s musical lineup includes the Emerald City Band, Havana NRG, Rip and the Majestic Band, Travelin Jed, and Mariachi Los Reyes de Dallas.
