Description of Event:
The 33rd annual free street festival will be held on December 9-10, 2017. Step back into Charles Dickens era on Franklin's Main Street. About 200 musicians, dancers and characters will fill the streets. Come see and interact with the nefarious Fagin from Oliver Twist; Ebenezer Scrooge, Jacob Marley, and Tiny Tim Cratchit with his parents from a Christmas Carol. And, of course, a Victorian Father and Mother Christmas will be there with treats for children. Come dressed in Victorian costume to help add to the ambiance as they stroll the streets. There will be live artisan demonstrations plus more than 100 vendors offering holiday arts and crafts on Main Street from Second to Fifth Avenues. There will be a petting zoo for children as well.
