FREE! FilmOneFest is an important international showcase for filmmakers around the globe working in the supershort – under two minutes – format, but it still retains its local focus on bringing arts to the community. This family-friendly film festival is a perfect summer evening held under the stars on the great lawn of the Atlantic Highlands Marina, and includes family entertainment, live music, and arts/food vendors. Live music begins at 5:30: Lakehouse Music Academy’s student/adult bands, and area favorites the Sam Sims Band. Main screening at 9pm, with 40+ of the best US/international short films presented on a giant, state-of-the-art digital screen. Judges choose award-winners, and there is an Audience Choice award. All welcome; blankets/beach chairs permitted. Food pantry donations encouraged.
