Description of Event:
The trees will be orange and the atmosphere friendly at the annual Festival of the Arts sponsored by Holy Trinity Monastery. In between eating the traditional assortment of meals and snacks including home baked pies and breads, viewing local entertainment on the stage area, and strolling the monastery grounds, visitors can get a head start on their holiday shopping.
Nearly one hundred vendors will be featuring hand-made products that are one of a kind. Woven products, art, clothing, pottery, photos, honey, jewelry, silver and goldsmiths, ironwork and scents & soaps, are a few of the many types of merchandise on display. The two day festival will raise money for the Passionist Sisters of Colegio de Guadalupe in Agua Prieta Mexico.
The Festival is open from 10-5 on Saturday, Nov. 14th and 10-4 on Sunday, Nov. 15th. Parking is $2 per vehicle and comes with 2 free raffle tickets. Masses will be held on Saturday at 5pm, and 10:30am (with Tongan Musicians) and 12pm on Sunday. Holy Trinity Monastery is located south of St. David off Highway 80 between mileposts 302 and 303.
