Description of Event:
The Festival of the Arts will be held on May 20-21, 2017. The event features the artist's market, serenity garden, literary celebration, children activities and much more. The artist's market offer visitors the rare opportunity to savor the works of some of the most talented artists and craftspeople from across the South and beyond. The market will include exhibitors whose fine art mediums include oil, watercolor, fine blown glass, elegant and whimsical jewelry, decorative and functional pottery, sculpture and hand turned wood, among others. Serenity Gardens celebrates the art of living well. Serenity Gardens will feature handmade products including fine soaps, lotions, salts, and items for your home, garden, pets and wild birds. Try out any one of the carefully chosen food offerings and maybe a glass of wine or a beer. At The Literary Celebration readers and writers gather to share their love of the written word. The Main Stage will feature bands and other entertainment. Children's Experience will allow children of all ages to truly taste the wonderment of creating art.
