A lot of people outside of our community do not realize that Echols County is known as the Carrot Capital of the South. To bring awareness to others outside of our community of this honor we will be having a Carrot Festival on May 11, 2013. The Echols Festival Committee is planning a fabulous array of entertainment, food, arts & crafts, children’s kid zone, and more.
