The Dripping Springs Songwriters Festival is a 3-day songwriters showcase held on October 14th-16th, 2016 in Dripping Springs, TX. Highlighted by a list of esteemed local and national talent, the festival features more than 25 song-packed shows a day featuring a wide variety of finely-crafted songs and the people and storiesbehind them. Over 35 talented songwriters from as far away as Australia will play "in-the-round", Nashvillestyle, on six intimate stages located at The Barber Shop, Mercer Street Dance Hall, The Mercantile Wine andTapas, Mazama Coffee Co., The Sidecar Tasting Room and Hudson's on Mercer - all of which are within safe, easy walking distance of each other in the quaint Historic District of downtown Dripping Springs. Performancesrun continuously on Friday and Saturday and on Sunday the festivities include a spirited Gospel Showcase atHudson's on Mercer followed by the ever-popular Festival Wrap-Party at the Barber Shop. Admission to allthe regular daytime showcases are free to the public. Rodney Crowell will headline the 2016 Drippng Springs Songwriters Festival.Information:
