West Chicago’s annual Blooming Fest is a downtown garden festival that combines the West Chicago Garden Club’s popular plant sale with a car show, a craft show, art exhibits, children’s activities, music, food and fun! Special activities and cultural arts attractions are planned. Downtown merchants and restaurants get into the act with in-store specials and sidewalk sales. The one-day event is open to the public between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. with vendor check-in beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2017. Vendors are required to bring their own tables and chairs and may use a tent if properly weighted. Blooming Fest is entirely outdoors and will take place rain or shine in the historic downtown district of West Chicago.
