Description of Event:
Welcome to the 18th Annual Big Country Balloon Fest hosted by the Optimist Club Unlimited of Abilene. Pan to attend this fun-filled, family-oriented weekend. It will be filled with balloon flights, nightly glows, lighted synchronized kites, children inflatables, train rides, pony rides and more! The weekend will be filled with great entertainment as well as great food and craft booths. All proceeds benefit various programs. These programs include college scholarships, Return to Sender (Christmas program that benefits the Boys and Girls Club), Camp Quality (a camp for young cancer patients). The Optimist Club Unlimited of Abilene is a nonprofit organization comprised of individuals in the community that encourage our youth to be optimistic.
