Description of Event:
Maifest will be held on May 13-14, 2017. Maifest is a German tradition dating back to the 10th century, when villagers would gather to celebrate the arrival of spring by planting flowers, playing music and game s, and raising a "maipole" in the local square. There will be live German music, Maibaum dance and other traditional German dances, German medieval antiques, sword battle and trebuchet demonstration, classic Porsches, plant sale, hanging flower basket planting station, village art in the park, bouncy houses, climbing walls and more.
