Description of Event:
The festival and all activities are free and open to the public. New this year are Chicago Steppin and Self Defense classes, a Digital Graffiti Photo Wall, Chalk Artist Show, and testing for sickle cell and vision. Other services and activities include:
Art-in-Motion with physical workouts like Salsa, Yoga and Body Combat
Kid Zone filled with bouncy houses, face painting, art projects, hula hoop dancing, sack races, obstacle courses and martial arts
Health care like medical assessments, first aid and emergency information, self-care and nutritional material, the benefits of humor and back care, as well as child and office safety, ways to combat stress, dental health and recreational safety
Testing for blood pressure, Body Mass Index (BMI), bone density, cholesterol, hearing, eyes and glucose
Live dance performances
Over 100 vendors
Magic performances by the GC Chemistry Club
Face Painting, drum circle, make your own buttons, art projects and more!
