Description of Event:
The 14th annual American Folk Festival takes place on August 26-28, 2016. The American Folk Festival is a large-scale, three-day event. Held each year at the end of August in downtown Bangor, Maine, the Festival presents the music and dance from the many cultures that make up America today. It'll be featuring 4 stages of music and dance, traditional craft demonstrations and exhibits, and a children's area with activities for the whole family. There will be dozens of food vendors offering ethnic food, regional specialties and traditional festival favorites. It'll also feature a Marketplace offering unique, handcrafted items and ""Taste of Maine"" treats for sale. Hours: Friday 5 pm to 10:30 pm, Saturday 11 am to 10:30 pm, Sunday 11 am to 6:30pmInformation:
