Description of Event:
A'Fair in Hernando is an annual event that started in August of 1974. It is now held on the third Saturday of May. All of the activities are held on the historic downtown square in Hernando Mississippi. A'Fair in Hernando is a rain or shine event and there is no admission fee and parking is free. The day's activities begin at 7:30 am with a 5K run/walk. The artists and crafters have booths on the parking area around the courthouse and down Commerce Street to the Hernando City Hall. The kid's zone is located on Commerce Street at City Hall. On the front lawn of the courthouse live entertainment is provided free from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Several local groups perform music from bluegrass to country western and everything in between. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy. Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pmInformation:
