Description of Event:
Carnival opens each night at 6pm. Armbands available for carnival rides each night. Wednesday night entertainment is Homecoming Beauty Pageant beginning at 6pm and “I’ve Got a Voice” singing competition at 9pm. Thursday night’s entertainment is “High Ground” blue grass band from 7-9pm and “Promised Land Gospel Quartet” from 9-11pm. Friday night’s entertainment is country band “Relentless” from 7-9pm and country band “Neon Summer” from 9-11pm. Saturday’s entertainment begins with parade at 5pm. Special parade guests include Ben “Cooter” Jones from TV show “Dukes of Hazzard” as grand marshal and Miss Virginia. Classic rock band “Thundergun” performs from 9-midnight. Fireworks display begins at 9:30pm. Take your turn at the dunking booth each night from 7-9pm. Kayak raffle at 10 pm…tickets available from now until drawing. Concessions available each night. Admission to the park is free.
