Join us for San Jacinto Day Festival and Battle Re-enactment will be held on April 21, 2018. Come see the re-enactment of the battle that won Texas its independence from Mexico. Held on the grounds of the San Jacinto Monument, the reenactment of this dramatic battle is the centerpiece of the Festival. The festival will be packed with entertainment, vendors, food, family and children's activities, cultural exhibitors, games and fun, music and dancing on 3 stages featuring country-western bands, flamenco dancers, Native American presentations, square dancers and much more. Other activities will include make-and-take activities, crafts for children, a children's train, a petting zoo, a popular medicine wagon show, birds of prey; demonstrations; and dozens of unique hand-crafted items for sale.
