Description of Event:
The Crawfish and Catfish Festival will be held on September 9-10, 2017. The festival features the authentic sounds, sights and tastes of Louisiana with southern BBQ, and Asian/Cajun fusion cuisine. There will be live Cajun, zydeco, blues and country music on two stages. Other festival activities will include cooking demos, Zydeco dance lessons, crawfish races, a kid's zone and two marketplaces. The music lineup will feature Mumbo Gumbo; Nickel Slots; Zydeco Flames; Zydeco On Our Mind; Mark St. Mary Zydeco and Blues;Blues Box Bayou Band; Dennis Johnson and the Mississippi Ramblers and City of Trees Brass Band.
