Description of Event:
Altoona, PA, will be ground zero for an all-out weekend of zombies, costumes, live music, vendors, activities and more.
The zombies awaken on Friday, August 26, 2016 during the official Zombie Walk at 5:30 PM at the Altoona Railroaders Memorial Museum. Enter “The Land of Oz” for a full night of music by the best Ozzy Osbourne tribute band period!
The fun continues on Saturday, August 27, 2016, with an early morning Zombie Fun Run through downtown Altoona’s streets and alleys. Zombie Yoga will cool down the runners and warm up the families who will participate in the Monster March. Through the day and into the night, enjoy an immersive experience including contests, games, live entertainment, food, and vendors.
Proceeds will benefit the Altoona Family Services’ Teen Shelter and Archway Ministries Food Pantry.
