Celebrating its 6th year, the Walgreens Greater New Orleans International Dragon Boat Festival is held on Louisiana’s scenic Northshore. Teams travel here to enjoy a day of racing in the cozy town of Madisonville then take a short trip over the Causeway to New Orleans to celebrate in the French Quarter! For the adventurous, this event draws teams who want to race and extend their stay to take in the sights, sounds and incredible Southern hospitality and charm that Louisiana has to offer. Come for the racing, stay for the party!
