Description of Event:

The Free SWOSU Bulldog Bazaar is held annually on the beautiful Southwestern Oklahoma State University campus located in Weatherford, OK. The Bazaar is held in conjuction with “Parent’s Day” events - visitors may explore the Departments on campus, enjoy a Pancake Breakfast in the Student Union and a football game that evening. Indoors at the SWOSU Wellness Center, you will browse through booths filled with artist’s wares, wood crafts, glass crafts, jewelry, specialty clothing, specialty soaps, wines, Fall & Christmas decor, quilts, throws & wall hangings of every description. Join visitors from the surrounding areas as they come to this venue to enjoy artists, crafters, food vendors and a variety of participants selling their wares.
The Southwestern Staff Council (SSC) hosts this event on behalf of the Staff of Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Money is raised for Scholarships and other benefits for staff.
A silent auction is held in the Bazaar from 9:00 - 1:00. There you my bid, if you wish on items donated by crafters and vendors. At 1:00 the winners will be notified to come and get the item they won.
Entertainment in the Wellness Center, located in the booth area is ongoing and features not only students, but area residents. This daylong event is called the “Talent Showcase.” As shoppers come and go, or come and stay, they can enjoy shopping, eating and listening to their favorite entertainer.
