Description of Event:

Historic Downtown Somerville produces a number of annual events and has become a hot spot as an event venue. Surrounded by towns such as, Basking Ridge, Bridgewater, Flemington and Warren, JC feels that this location has the potential to become a very popular attraction for arts & crafts lovers.
In 2014, this event was held for the first time. Exhibitors were delighted to see the number of visitors that came to the festival. Many of the restaurants had open air seating, there was a area to listen to live music, as well as a “hands on” free craft section for the children (no rides or other festivities for kids are available). This event is juried and has approximately 150 exhibitors, all artists, crafters and photographers. There is no retail or buy and sell. The deadline is open and closes when we sell out of space. Of course, jewelry category closes first. We try to keep jewelry count to approximately 20%. Exhibitors space sizes are 12’ W x 10’ D and located along the curb in the street.It will feature artisans displaying and selling a wonderful mix of quality contemporary crafts as well as fine art. There will be original handmade works such as oil and acrylic paintings, watercolors, sculpture, photography, pottery, jewelry, decorative fiber works, metal works, paper, stone, garden works and so much more.
