Over 20,000 happy people are French for the weekend. Outdoors under the sun in Santa Barbara's beautiful Oak Park. France comes to Santa Barbara! Fresh baked french breads and pastries. Classic and nouvelle cuisine and regional specialties. Crepes, onion soup, quiche, pates, sausage, escargots, Cajun and French Moroccan food, salads and cheeses. Beer, wine, sparking Champagne. Orangina, Perrier, and frothy cafe au lait.. Impressionist painters at their easels, reminiscent of Montmartre or Provence. Handcrafted jewelry. Berets. French books, tapes and videos. Get a Henna tattoo and even a relaxing massage. Folk music and dancing. Classical recitals. Accordion players. Tributes to Edith Piaf and Maurice Chevalier. Moroccan belly dancing. Grand opera. Cajun bands. Jazz. Tango. Classical recitals. Roving jugglers, mimes and troubadours. A complete schedule with performance times will be distributed at the Festival.
