A NEW art festival experience... ""where the artistic process comes alive before your eyes"". That's what sets this festival apart. It's alive for you to participate in or to observe the creative process first-hand. You, and visitors of all ages, will find an arts environment where 100+ acclaimed local, regional and national fine-arts and fine-crafts artists demonstrate the creative process at arts-education venues located throughout the festival. And as you stroll the festival route, you'll take-in the works of accomplished artists along with thoughtful music from acoustical musicians. Add good food and beverages, and who could ask for more. Yet, there's the festival setting in downtown Historic Sanford where tree-lined, brick-paved streets and historic buildings provide a scenic backdrop for the new art festival experience that awaits your pleasure. The children's area focuses on a children's art display, "a mini-art show," by students from Midway Elementary School of the Arts intended to enhance the artistic experience for our young visitors and parents alike. Midway's performing-arts students will perform during the festival as well. And young visitors will be able to observe the creative process along with their families at artist demonstration areas throughout the festival. Hours: 10-6 Saturday and 10-5 SundayInformation:
