Description of Event:
The Cowanesque Valley Outdoors Festival, to be held just east of Westfield along Rte. 49, across from the Champlin Cemetery,will feature great entertainment along with displays, exhibits, and demonstrations geared for celebrating the Great Outdoors. New this year is local talent HOUSTON BAKER - sure to be a real crowd pleaser. And more music will be playing throughout the day with the WISE GUYS, a fantastic duo from Corning that wowed the crowd last year, as well as the incredible PENNY ECKMAN singing in the Grand Finale as country legend Patsy Cline. It'll also have Moon Rocks from NASA, Dinosaur bones and fossils, a climbing wall, Kid's Crafts, Cowboys, Civil War Re-enactors, chainsaw carving demonstrations, go-carts on dsiplay, a wildlife exhibit, and plenty of vendors, including the popular Crary Hose chicken barbecue and other food booths and farmer's market.
