Description of Event:
This annual show has something for everyone, from the avid rockhounds to the casual rock enthusiasts of all ages.With more than a dozen dealers offering loose beads, faceted gem stones and jewelry, petrified wood, thundereggs, and geodes, rocks and minerial specimens, books and other lapidary accessories. We'll have 20 showcases with exhibits by local collectors displaying their treasures of rocks and specimens from the northwest and around the world. For the young rockhounds we have our kids corner with games, fun and prizes. And for all rockhounders there will be a silent auction each day where you can bid on rough material or finished pieces. Demonstrations in rock tumbling and cabochon making, Oregon rock display, and more.Information:
