Description of Event:
The oldest festival of its kind in the Northeast, the Mystic Outdoor Art Festival attracts people from New England and other areas of the country to our region during this two day event. As a juried art show, the festival attracts an audience of discriminating art enthusiasts who plan on purchasing both fine art and crafts from our 250 artists and artisans. The festival showcases more than 100,000 diverse pieces of oils, watercolors, photographs, pastels, sculpture, acrylics and more over two miles of art in the heart of Historic Downtown Mystic. The event is free of charge to the public and there are activities for all ages, including a Children's Art Park. Area nonprofit organizations offer food and drink for sale to raise money for their organizations, making this a great community event. Hours: Saturday, 10am-6pm; Sunday, 10am-5pmInformation:
