Description of Event:
Mondo Roots is a festival celebrating cultural diversity in the arts, foods and music. This is a free festival for all ages taking place in Downtown Clayton NC on Saturday, June 4th starting at 1:00PM. Performances include national touring acts: The Lee Boys, Sol Driven Train, Black Masala; along with local acts The Amateurs , Jam Rock Reggae and more. In addition to the amazing music and foods there will be live painting and wood carving as well as a henna artist, face painter, drum circle (bring your drum to play along) chalk art contest (with cash prizes for the winners), mask making tent for the kids and much more. Join us for a fun filled day celebrating diversity in every way!
