Heritage crafts and old-tyme farming skills are highlighted in this 2-day family event that showcases a simpler life. Draft animals will be demonstrating ""no gas needed"" farming skills and offering wagon rides, as well as providing power for corn-grinding, sorghum pressing, and more (weather permitting). Syrup cooking, spinning, soapmaking, dry stone masonry, native plant identification and hikes, antique and vintage clothing, Indian artifacts, flintknapping, children's primitive games and toys, beekeeping, and much more! (listing subject to change). Rare livestock breeds on display, live bluegrass and mountain music. Real chuckwagon food, whole hog barbecue, kettle corn, plus other treats.
