McKinney, Texas meets Bavaria as McKinney Oktoberfest 2014 comes to life again in Historic Downtown McKinney. McKinney Main Street, supporting sponsors and the shops in downtown McKinney host non-stop activities in the heart of the great city. It's all to celebrate the popular tradition which began in Munich, Germany, over 200 years ago. Guests can enjoy authentic German beer from local brewery Franconia, wine and all the German cuisine you would find if you were right in the middle Munich. The kiddos have a ball at Oktoberfest with interactive activities and offerings including hay bale maze, keg barrel races, face painting, a petting zoo, Volktoberfest German Car Show, Wiener Dog Races and arts and crafts of all types.
