There will be much more than the beautiful scenery to see in Big Rapids at Hemlock Park on Monday, September 7th. The 47th Annual Labor Day Arts and Crafts Festival will bring over 100 juried artists and craftpersons to the scenic park along the Muskegon River. The festival draws over 10,000 visitors to the park to browse among the vast array of handcrafted items. Many crafts are represented, including wheel thrown pottery, hand woven baskets, stained glass, oak furniture, paintings, jewelry, weather veins and lawn ornaments,plus countless other items. There will also be a Playscape, the Riverwalk and even hands on crafts for the children, music and a variety of food items offered. Hours: 10am to 4pmInformation:
