Celebrating the first bud of spring, The Morikami's largest annual event, Hatsume, transforms the normally tranquil Morikami Park into a unique Japanese spring festival featuring three stages with taiko drummers, a Japanese tea ceremony, martial art demonstrations, bonsai demonstrations, avenues of craft vendors, and Morikami's unique take on Anime and Cosplay. Also included are Asian and American food vendors, our Kirin Beer Garden and specialty Sake Station, as well as children's activities. Hours: 11am to 6pmInformation:
