The Gaithersburg Book Festival is an annual celebration of great books and great writing that will feature more than 100 top authors – including winners of Caldecott, Newbery and National Book Awards, and national best-sellers in fiction, non-fiction, mystery, poetry, children’s and young adult literature. Other activities include a spotlight on local authors, interactive writing workshops, a Children’s Village, book sales and more. Admission and shuttles from Shady Grove Metro and Lakeforest Mall are FREE
