Funfest Weekend is set for September 12 and 13, and tens of thousands are expected to crowd Broad Street in Downtown Hazleton for the annual end-of-summer celebration. The Hazleton Area's biggest event, Funfest Weekend, features the Funfest Parade, Street Fair to benefit local nonprofits featuring favorite fair and ethnic foods. Arts, Crafts and Home Party Show, Car Show, Kids Activities, Eating Contest, Celebrity Adult Trike Race, Senior Activities, free entertainment at three venues, carnival rides, and much more.Funfest takes place in a 5 block area in Downtown Hazleton, along Broad Street from Vine to Cedar Streets. Hours: Saturday 10 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.Information:
