Description of Event:
The last weekend in July pirates from every walk of life. There will be pirate battles with cannons and black powder weapons and a pirate invasion and boat parade. Enjoy live music throughout the weekend with some of the best performers in piracy. Admission to this 3 day Pirate Fest is free. Come dressed as a Swashbuckler, Buccaneer or Tavern Wench and enter one of the costume contests for Kids, Adults, and even Pets. Celebrate Punta Gorda's Maritime History in True Pirate Fashion. There are various restaurants, food and beverage vendors, arts and craft, pirate themed vendors, and local merchant shops to browse while you wander through more than a quarter mile of shaded corridors and breezeways at this amazing covered venue.Information:
