Celebrate 24 years of delicious, fall-off-the-bone BBQ in Erie, PA at this 4-day festival beginning on Wednesday, MAY 28th, 2014. National Touring Award Winning Touring Rib Cooking Teams will be offering the very best in BBQ cuisine at the 24th Annual - Erie's Wild Rib Cook Off and Music Festival. Beginning on Wednesday, May 28th of 2014, the streets of Downtown Erie, PA will be filled with the enticing aroma of slow cooked BBQ Ribs prepared to perfection with secret sauces and specialty rubs for all to enjoy! The Erie Rib Fest is the kick-off event to Erie's Summer Festival Season and is a signature event to Erie's festival landscape. It's more that the BBQ! This popular festival is also host to delicious festival foods including fresh squeezed lemonade, creamy fudge, candy apples, funnel cakes, ice cream, roasted nuts, ice cream, corn dogs, roasted corn and so much more! Enjoy all of these delicacies and the BBQ pulled pork sandwiches, BBQ Rib dinners, Rib tasters and ice cold Labatts on the plaza. The RIB KIDz FUN ZONE features a selection of clean, professionally managed, child safe inflatable amusements This popular family event will also feature Local and Regional Bands showcased on the main stage. Many new activities are in the planning stages to celebrate "24 Years of Great BBQ"" in the Region in 2014.
