Description of Event:
The event will be held on Saturday October 17, 2015 at the Dublin Heritage Park and Museums located at 6600 Donlon Way in Dublin, CA. Live entertainment will fill the air as The Dublin Bluegrass Jam Band plays from the Hay Barn. Visitors can also see farm animals in the Hay Barn, take a tractor-pulled wagon-ride, play in a hay stack, and stroll through the scarecrow exhibit on the grounds. The 1910 Kolb House and 1850s Murray Schoolhouse will be open during the event for tours. Fall foods, including caramel apples, pie, hot apple cider, and popcorn will be available for purchase. Children can participate in the "Hands-on-History" activities with the purchase of a $5 activity pass and will churn butter, make apple pie, do laundry with a washboard, make corn husk dolls, pan for gold, and more.
