Fall Fest is a Des Plaines Family Festival held in September each year. The event is open to the public on the grounds of Lake Park, next to Lake Opeka at Lee Street and Touhy Avenue in Des Plaines, Illinois. Stroll through the Open Air Market and enjoy the sunshine, the lake, and the fresh outdoors while you shop for gift items, clothing, accessories, jewelry, arts, crafts, household items and more. Come to Fall Fest in the afternoon and stay through the evening. Sample food from the vendor area featuring local restaurants, enjoy a refreshing drink, and relax or dance the night away while watching the bands and performers. Bands perform Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, live on the main stage at Lake Park in Des Plaines. Fall Fest offers entertainment for all members of the family, including: Live Music, Food, Beer, Wine Garden, KidZone, Kids Entertainment Activities, Arts and Crafts, Pony Rides, Live Animal Show, Car Show, Fishing Derby, Bags Tournaments, Carnival, Raffles, Country Fair Tent, and more.
