Description of Event:
Day in the park dakes place in Laurel's beautiful Mason park. The festival officially kicks off at 9:30 a.m. when guests can revel in a variety entertainment acts on Mason Park's main stage including dancing, blues, rock, country and local show choirs. After enjoying the performances, patrons can stroll the oak-lined paths and purchase hand-crafted goods from over 50 regional vendors. Children's activities will delight the young with the many supervised crafts, pony rides, face painting and fun jumpers. Attendees can admire the Student Art Competition, which features works from pre-school through high-school aged students. Students from public, private and home-schooled children may participate.
