The Colorado Dragon Boat Festival (CDBF) has become, in a few short years, the most recognized and celebrated Asian American/Pacific Islander cultural event in the Rocky Mountain region. From an audience of 15,000 in its first year, 2001, the Festival has grown to over 100,000 spectators from Colorado Dragon Boat Festiva lthroughout the region. The Colorado Dragon Boat Festival features three main attractions: The thrilling ancient sport of Dragon Boat Racing, the colorful fun and flavorful Marketplace and Taste of Asia Food Court, and the various Performing Arts areas. From the very first year, part of the fun of attending the Colorado Dragon Boat Festival has been the chance to shop in the Asian Marketplace for arts, crafts gifts, toys and clothing, and taste the wonderful variety of cuisines that makes Asian Pacific American culture so special!
