Description of Event:
This fun-filled festival celebrates all things Mayberry. Meet actress Maggie Peterson who played Charlene Darling on The Andy Griffith Show and Rodney Dillard, one of the Darling Boys. Rodney and the Dillard Band will perform in concert on Saturday evening. Vendors will open Friday, May, 15th from 1pm until 5pm with many arts and craft booths for your shopping pleasure. Vendors will be open from 9am until 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday. At 9 am on Saturday only, the Mayberry in the Midwest Parade ushers in the Tribute Artists, plus it'll have a marching band, squad cars, a pack of Opie look-a-likes, a "loaded goat" and other surprises.
