Description of Event:
The Chattooga River Festival is a music and arts festival that was created to encourage environmental stewardship in conjunction with the responsible recreational use of the Chattooga River watershed. Its mission is to increase awareness of the importance of protecting and preserving the unique ecological environment and scenic beauty of this valuable resource. The Chattooga River Festival will continue on in 2014 with a celebration of the 40th anniversary of the wild and scenic designation of the Chattooga River by US Congress. Patrons to the 2014 celebration will enjoy activities including camping, an adventure race, MUSIC, arts and crafts vendors, food, a kids area and much, much more!Information:
