Description of Event:
Join us for the 48th annual Fall Foliage Festival. This is not only a great art/crafts/makers fair but also a fun, family event. The beautiful crafts, art, great eats, and entertainment are center stage on the Museum's Village Green, a four acre lawn surrounded by historic buildings and structures. Rides on the narrow gauge steam train and the opportunity for guests to explore exhibits detailing Maine's railroad heritage, interpreting village life, and displaying more than 55 antique automobiles set this event apart. It'll also have a pumpkin carving contest this year. Foodies will delight in the traditional coastal offerings of lobster rolls, hot cider, fish chowder, kettle corn, just to name a few. As always, children will have great fun in the children's area with face painting, lawn games, treasure hunts and more. Admission is $4, free for children 12 and under and for Museum Members. Hours: Saturday from 9:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m., and Sunday 11:15a.m. - 4:00 p.m.Information:
