Description of Event:
Coinciding with the annual Peony Festival, this 2-day event held in beautiful Fountain Park draws community residents and tourists alike to Downtown Van Wert. Artists from across Ohio and Indiana exhibit and sell their original artwork; kids and families enjoy free games and entertainment, and a great selection of events all combine for a fun Friday and Saturday. Friday night is the kick-off to the Fountain Park Music Series, with a free concert from the park stage. Saturday culminates in the Grand Peony Parade through Van Wert along historic Washington Street. Bring your lawn-chair early, as the sidewalks fill up with spectators when the weather is nice!Information:
